Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen. Syed Asim Munir held numerous senior US military and political figures on Thursday as a component of his trip to Washington, DC.

ISPR said that Gen. Asim fulfilled with Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken, Secretary of Defense Gen. Lloyd J. Austin, Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, Deputy National Security Adviser Jonathan Finer, and president of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Charles Q. Brown. ISPR said that topics of mutual interest, global and regional security, and current disputes were discussed at the talks.
Both sides believed to continue conversing to one another to look into ways that you might work jointly to achieve the shared objectives. During negotiations with military officials, counterterrorism and working together on defense were named as the primary fields where the two sides might succeed together. Both groups said once again they wanted to talk about things and to seek ways to develop engagements that were good for both of them.
Gen. Asim stressed how important it was to understand each other’s points of view on problems of regional security and changes that affect the strategic safety of South Asia.In this situation, the COAS stressed how important it was to settle the Kashmir problem in a way that followed international law and UNSC decisions.
The army leader also spoke to Pakistanis living outside of Pakistan. The COAS met people from the Pakistani community at a dinner put on by the Embassy of Pakistan.The COAS praised the good contribution of the Pakistani people living outside of Pakistan to the growth and development of the country.There were a lot of different issues that were talked about, and the COAS praised the efforts of the Pakistani community. He also welcomed and urged people from other countries to invest through SIFC, which is already working well in many ways.
The COAS also said that the US is Pakistan’s biggest export market, accounting for 21.5% of all exports. He put an end to rumors that people were being detained, screened differently, or denied visas.Pakistani diaspora anywhere in the world is held in high regard because they are ambassadors of Pakistan and make important contributions to the motherland in many areas, the army chief said.
People from Pakistan talked about how proud they were of the Pakistan Army’s work and what it has done for the country. The COAS told the Pakistani people to keep up their good work. He also met Tanweer Ahmed, who gave NUST $9 million to help Pakistan improve its IT infrastructure. He thanked him and told him, Pakistan is proud of heroes like you.
