PCB huge decision Finalized date and venues for HBL PSL 9

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially set the dates and locations for the upcoming ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Scheduled to take place from February 17 to March 17, 2024, the league will unfold in four key cities: Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Multan.

Karachi will host the final match, though concerns have been raised regarding stadium attendance in Karachi, especially during doubleheaders, as single matches have sometimes struggled to fill seats.

The PCB is currently addressing this concern and will unveil a confirmed schedule once a resolution is determined.

The PSL 9 Draft occurred at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore on Wednesday, where teams finalized their squads following an extensive team selection process.

Kevin Petersen is coming back to Quetta, according to Daily Guidelines.-The teams will get together on February 12 and play practice games and games over the next four days to get ready for the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The event starts on February 17 in Lahore with the reigning winners, Lahore Qalandars, playing Islamabad United in the first game. The action continues with a match in Multan on February 18 between the Multan Sultans and the Karachi Kings.

The first game will take place in Karachi on February 28 between Karachi Kings and Islamabad United. Moving on to Rawalpindi, the first game is set for March 1 and will be between United and Quetta Gladiators. There are also six doubleheaders planned for the event.

Eleven games will be played in Karachi. Nine games will be played in Lahore and Rawalpindi, and five games will be played in Multan. In Karachi, there will be the playoff stage, which includes three important games and the grand final. The final game will be on March 17.
